What are your three favorite things about Portland?
You can grab a delicious cup of locally roasted coffee, visit any number of museums, galleries or music venues, eat at a number of world class restaurants and hop in your car and be in beautiful nature within 5 minutes.
We have so many incredible musicians, talented recording engineers and top notch studios.
It’s big enough such that it has the feel of a larger city and small enough that you can really make a difference if you apply yourself.
What are the three things visitors (and residents) absolutely must see or do while they’re in Portland?
Take the ferry out to Peaks Island, rent a bike and go exploring.
Go see a show at State Theatre. It’s a special place.
When we say "Beyond Words," what comes to your mind first?
The view from the Eastern Prom in the summer.
If you were an item in a hotel, what would you be and why?
A complimentary bottle of water, because people are always like “Oh, thanks for being here. I’m glad to see you and I really need/appreciate you.”
What are you doing when you’re not doing what you do?
I am always doing what I do, so that’s what I’m always doing. That or binge watching TV shows on Netflix when I get the chance (like once a year, for three days straight).
